Ideally located at the crossroads of hiking trails to Mont des Cats, Mont de Boeschepe, Mont Kokereel and Mont Noir, the Brasserie-épicerie des bio monts offers you a moment of relaxation in the heart of nature.
You'll be seduced by the aesthetics of the brick and wood-clad building, the large terrace and the cosy atmosphere of the dining room. The terrace faces a children's playground and a pétanque court (boules available on request).
Discover excellent local and craft beers, over 20 bottled beers and 3 draught beers. Some examples: Bellenaert breweries, La Griffe des Flandres, Thiriez, Trappist beer from the Mont des Cats Abbey, and of course the unmissable "3 Monts".
The establishment also offers a range of organic wines: white, red and rosé, by the glass or bottle.
You'll also appreciate the wide range of organic soft drinks: fruit juices, syrups, kefir and other natural softs, as well as organic coffee, chocolate and teas.
All dishes, starters and desserts are homemade, using seasonal, local produce produced in ways that respect your health and the environment. You can enjoy traditional Flemish dishes, mixed salads or platters with local charcuterie and cheeses. Of course, the restaurant works with the delicious cheese from the Abbaye du Mont des Cats!
A little hunger or a little pleasure outside mealtimes? Don't worry, you'll find croques, sandwiches, tarts and homemade ice creams.
