The former capital of the Glanic people of Ancient Provence, Glanum is now an extraordinary archaeological site. The town became Hellenised due to its contact with Marseille, created grandiose public monuments under Roman influence, then disappeared circa 270 as a result of Barbarian invasions. Excavations have unearthed a residential district of houses with central courtyards surrounded by columns, streets with drains, mosaics, thermal baths and the forum, testifying to a certain degree of sophistication.

Audioguides available in French, English, German, Spanish and Italian: €3
