Musée de Plein Air
Beschrijving
Imagine strolling through a real village from days gone by, surrounded by thatched cottages, orchards, and animals, all set amidst nature on 15 hectares. The Open-Air Museum saved 25 rural buildings from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, dismantled stone by stone and rebuilt identically on the site.
Today, artisans and artists live there and keep ancient crafts alive, passionately sharing their knowledge with passing visitors.
Children can get up close to the animals in the pastures, explore the vegetable patches and gardens, and uncover the secrets of traditional craftsmanship. Parents can too.
Every week, fun activities for learning while having fun
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, parent-child workshops punctuate the visit: discovering the animals, artistic creations using recycled materials, vegetable-based paints… On Sundays, concerts and tastings of regional products are added for an even more festive day.
A lively, bucolic, and timeless place to enjoy together.
