Beschrijving

The Palais Rihour, built in the 15th century by Philippe le Bon, is one of the last vestiges of flamboyant Gothic architecture in Lille. Originally, it was a vast princely residence built for the Dukes of Burgundy. Several fires, including the one in 1916, destroyed much of the building, and today only the Conclave chapel, the 15th-century staircase and the guard room remain. Today, the Palais Rihour houses the Lille Tourist Office on the first floor. The Conclave Room, upstairs, is open Monday to Friday (except public holidays) from 10am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
