To ride around the city, Lyon Vélo Location provides you with puncture-proof hybrid bikes, perfectly suited to pedalling gently down the cycle paths along the banks of the Rhône, exploring Vieux-Lyon and visiting museums, or heading across the Presqu’île to ride up Rue de la République at your own pace.
As Lyon is known for its hills, including Fourvière and La Croix-Rousse, why not opt for an electric hybrid or compact bike that will make the ascent easier, even with a heavy backpack and tiring legs?
Near Lyon, you can take a swim in the lake in the Grand Parc Miribel-Jonage. Grab the chance to have some fun with your children by renting a cargo bike for a fatigue-free ride. Croozer-kid trailers and child seats are available.
Longer-distance riders can choose 2- or 4-pannier touring bikes to pedal down the ViaRhôna, the long cycle path running along the Rhône, going as far as Geneva or Arles, to blow out the cobwebs and get away from it all.
Lyon Vélo Location also rents out sports bikes. The more intrepid among can choose electric or standard MTBs to head out into the countryside around Lyon without having to worry about any obstacles. You can rent road bikes to take on the Monts d’Or. If you get a flat tyre, don’t worry. Lyon Vélo Location lends you a repair kit and U-locks for most bikes. Group rentals (minimum eight people) get a 10% reduction.
