Mémorial National Australien de Villers-Bretonneux

This imposing memorial, preceded by a vast cemetery, pays tribute to the 11,000 Australian soldiers who died during the Great War. It was at Villers-Bretonneux that they stopped the German offensive in April 1918. Every year, on April 25, Anzac Day is commemorated.
