Situated on an area of preserved marshland, Terres d'Oiseaux is one of the last reed beds in the Gironde Estuary. This biotope is home to rare birds and is a shelter for many insects, amphibians and mammals. Reed harriers, herons, storks, marsh snipe: more than 110 species of birds have been observed.The site offers 2 distinct and complementary areas
- a free space that allows visitors to access an observation tower, the reception building offering a relaxation area, café and shop as well as the panoramic restaurant,
- a paying area composed of 3 ornithological paths lined with observatories equipped with fixed telescopes.
