Welcome to Clos de Madon, a charming gîte full of character, a subtle blend of ancient and modern. The owners have completely restored a 16th-century outbuilding, respecting the original features (tufa stone, rubble stone masonry, lime rendering, old tiled roof, etc.). Your accommodation is located in the heart of the historic hamlet of Madon (where you'll be able to see the Château de Madon), in Candé-sur-Beuvron, a quiet village on the Loire Valley châteaux trail. For 2-wheeled enthusiasts, there's plenty to choose from, including the "Loire à vélo" or "Châteaux à vélo" circuits. Walkers will find a hiking trail right in front of the house (GR3), or can do part of the Chemin de Compostelle. Less than half an hour away, you can discover the magnificent gardens of Chaumont-sur-Loire, the p
