The gîte Le Cascarot is an ideal stopover for cyclists and yachtsmen, with a private pontoon available (12m), as well as for fishing, boating and water sports enthusiasts (in season). Nearby: Seurre: shops, Hôtel-Dieu and historical tour of the town. Saint-Jean-de-Losne: 1st inland waterway port, boat hire and restaurants. Cîteaux Abbey, birthplace of the Cistercians, also renowned locally for its excellent cheese made by the monks. 30 minutes from the famous Burgundy vineyards of Nuits-St-Georges, Beaune (and its Unesco World Heritage Site Hospices), Meursault... 45 minutes from Dijon, the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, a city of art and history and a centre for gastronomy.
