Former capital of the Comminges, rich and prosperous during the Middle-Ages, this sub-prefecture has inherited a history which we can appreciate through its vestiges : brick walls along the banks of the Garonne River, timber-framed houses, the "leper's wall", Saint-Jacques Church.
