Inside the Maison de la Forêt (forestry visitor centre) - Tourist Office, a permanent exhibition presents the forester’s trade, various uses of timber, old wood-associated trades, etc. Lend an ear and the sounds of the forest will enchant you… try to recognise them all!

Outdoors, a marked path towards the forest’s edge offers you a presentation of Cerisy forest, its history, tree species, fauna and flora.
And if you identify all the clues to our local species, you may even be lucky enough to follow the footsteps of a wild boar or a roe deer.

The Maison de la Forêt - Tourist Office is also where you can find a host of ideas for walks and outings around Cerisy forest.

Industrial heritage, nature, historic heritage, local craft… each of these themes can be the subject of a day trip to discover the Balleroy - Le Molay-Littry area and its surroundings.
