There are a number of cycle routes to take you around Durtal and the surrounding area, as well as the Vallée du Loir à Vélo (Véloroute V47) in the direction of Angers, La Flèche, Le Lude, etc. On leaving Durtal, take the Durtal -> La Flèche greenway in complete safety, or discover the 20km or so of well-marked loops in the surrounding area.
