Fancy a ride lasting a few hours or more, along the banks of the Loire or through the Mauges countryside? The answer is Dany and Natacha’s bike hire.
Just 2.5km from Montjean-sur-Loire, a charming village on the Loire, you can set off towards Nantes or Angers, enjoying the loops along the ‘La Loire à vélo’ cycle route (from 1½ hours’ ride).

Open to everyone, not just campsite guests, hop on a mountain bike, hybrid bike, tandem or electric bike (e-bike) and set off along the paths and roads of Anjou.
And for a family ride? The campsite has everything covered: bike trailers, third wheels and baby seats are available for the little ones. Essential helmets are, of course, included in the bike hire.

For a day out on the Loire, start by visiting the Cap Loire Discovery Park, dedicated to the Loire’s maritime history. Then have a picnic on the quays and set off on a cruise along the Loire aboard a sightseeing boat (La Ligériade) or a traditional vessel (Fer de Loire). Round off your day with a meal at a guinguette for a festive evening on an island (at Au Bout de l’Île) or on the banks of the ‘royal river’ (at La Paillote des Lucettes), or even at a cosy restaurant (at Marie-Louise).
