Located close to the ViaRhôna cycle route, this authentic venue evokes the atmosphere of traditional restaurants of the past, combining friendliness, a warm welcome and generous cuisine.

A complete daily set menu (starter, main course and dessert) is offered every day, with the option to take it away and enjoy it in the nearby Jardin des Simples, just next to the restaurant. A vegetarian option can also be prepared on request. Every Thursday, guests are invited to discover a themed menu inspired by world cuisine, creatively reinterpreted by Sylvie, the owner of the establishment.

The restaurant features a cosy dining room, a veranda and, in fine weather, a shaded terrace beneath the plane trees — an ideal spot to enjoy the charming setting of Vertrieu.

Awarded the Accueil Vélo label, Les Platanes is an ideal stopover for cyclists travelling along the ViaRhôna. A range of services is available on site, including electric bike battery recharging, a repair kit for minor breakdowns, and tourist information to help visitors discover Vertrieu and the surrounding area.
