Château Gigognan - Wine estate
Located just a few kilometers from Avignon's famous City of the Popes, Château Gigognan spreads its vineyards over 110 hectares, producing organic red, white and rosé wines in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages Signargues and Côtes-du-Rhône appellations. The Château Gigognan team works hard every day to produce quality wines while taking environmental concerns into account. The Château, a true haven of peace, is surrounded by fields of lavender, beehives, orchards and olive trees, which enable it to produce its own olive oil and honey.
To share this know-how with you, Léonie WALLE (Oenotourism Manager at Château Gigognan) has set up a wide range of activities and events. The barrel cellar and winery are open to visitors all year round. Guided tours and tastings of the wine range are organized daily, and can be complemented by a stroll through the vineyard plots.
From gourmet markets to afterworks and aperitif-concerts, Château Gigognan is the perfect place to break the routine and meet up with friends and family in a magical setting. On the terrace, in the Château's gardens or in the heart of the vineyards, you'll enjoy an idyllic setting to treat your taste buds and enjoy fine local produce in a convivial atmosphere.
You can also hop on one of the Château's electric bikes and follow the interactive trails to discover the magnificent wine region of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Château Gigognan's trails, combining history and terroir, will take you right to the heart of their vineyards... Total immersion guaranteed, with text, audio and video content created just for you! Château Gigognan also offers room rental.
Spacious and bright, a 100m² room is equipped with a video projector and an interactive touch screen for your corporate meetings. Would you like to organize a cocktail party, lunch or anniversary? This room, with its panoramic view of the winery, is just the thing.
The outside areas (terraces, gardens, lavender fields...) can also be made private for your trade shows, photo shoots, showrooms...
You can also extend your experience by staying in one of the Château's various accommodation options: bed and breakfast, gîtes or private use of the Château.
