Moulin de Rotrou

On the borders of Maine, Anjou and Touraine, in the town of Vaas, in the heart of the Loir Valley, the Moulin de Rotrou is still in operation, much to the delight of visitors and walkers. Unique in the region, the Moulin de Rotrou, a 16th-century watermill, is open to visitors in July and August.

Come to the Moulin de Rotrou to admire the river, the weir and, above all, the large water wheel that drives all the machinery used to turn wheat into flour. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our passion for the history of humanity as it relates to wheat, mills and water.
