The site offers a completely modernized visitor experience. Through immersive exhibits, interactive models, and audiovisual displays, you’ll meet “Capiau,” a virtual character from the traditional marsh, and uncover the secrets of the history, flora, and fauna of this exceptional ecosystem.

The must-see experience: The bac%F4ve boat ride
From the site’s pier, embark on a 45-minute guided cruise aboard a bac%F4ve. This large, flat-bottomed wooden boat, handcrafted using medieval techniques, once served as a “truck” for market gardeners to transport up to3.5 tons of cauliflower. Accompanied by a passionate eco-guide, you’ll glide silently along the water, through the heart of a preserved aquatic labyrinth.

The site also features a landscaped park open to the public, a restaurant serving locally sourced food ("Les Bols du Marais"), and offers numerous activities (aperitif cruises, nature workshops) throughout the season.
