Privilege of the place, we are at the point of the Three Borders (France, Switzerland, Germany). On the banks of the Rhine, opposite the tourist port of Basel, and a few steps from the shops of Weil-Am-Rhein, Germany. Below, and up to the footbridge, is a small pebble beach, where many swans and a variety of wild ducks live. (Footbridge with the longest free span in the world, 238 m). In the distance, a few km away, you can see the beginning of the black forest (Schwarzwald). At about a hundred meters, at the entrance of the canal, begins the site of the Parc des Eaux Vives, where you can practice kayaking, rafting... This magnificent park is ideal for walking or cycling, there are games for the little ones, water jets and a climbing wall.
