IMPORTANT: To reserve our gîte, click on the button below: RESERVE In a green setting, in the heart of a charming little Ardennes village, our gîte is ideally situated, on the Ardennes GR14 trail, less than 5 km from the "La Meuse à vélo" greenway, for discovering the countryside and forest, so rich in biodiversity, or for relaxed rides in complete safety. Are you more interested in local history, castles, museums and art? Less than half an hour's drive away, you'll find a host of unmissable natural sites, towns and places of remembrance, and you'll discover our Ardennes, magnificent, endearing and surprising, a land of legends and wonderful tales. You're in an eco-responsible gîte, an "ARDENNE ECOTOURISM" accommodation that's a must-see. Housed in a fully renovated former family farmhouse, our accommodation is designed and managed to minimize its impact on the environment, while offering optimum comfort to its visitors. With ground-level access, private parking for 4 to 6 cars, secure bicycle storage, a charging point for electric vehicles (details in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale), a terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue and a 1200 m² enclosed garden, with a self-service vegetable garden and a flower-filled ornamental garden: comfort and nature at your fingertips! The first floor and terrace are accessible to people with reduced mobility. A baby kit can be provided free of charge on request (see our baby page). We are also partners of Ardennes Roues Libres, a bike rental service: Jean-François can drop off the bikes of your choice at the gîte at your request. (See our Rent a bike page ) Our gîte is located in the French Ardennes, at 6, rue de la maison commune, in BULSON. The village of Bulson is part of the Communauté de Communes des Portes du Luxembourg, and is served mainly by the D29 and D229 roads. The A34 freeway is 9 km from the B&B. The nearest train station is 10 km away, in the town of SEDAN. The nearest airport is CHARLEROI in Belgium, 125 km away, and Douzy aerodrome, 14 km. As our gîte is in the heart of the village, opposite the church, we would like to inform our future guests that the church bells ring at 7.00, 12.00 and 19.00, and that the surrounding agricultural activity can sometimes be heard, despite the very good soundproofing of our accommodation. The nearest franchised shops, bakeries, fuel stations, banks and cash dispensers are in Sedan, 11 km away. You can buy fresh produce (cheese, bread, vegetables) from local producers in the village and a kilometer and a half from Bulson (Lieu-dit Jardin de Bulson). In the commune of Raucourt et Flaba, 7 km from the gîte, you'll find a bakery, pharmacy, physiotherapists, dentist, nurse and general practitioner.
