Boasting an exceptional location on the Île de Ré, at the foot of the famous Les Baleines Lighthouse and with direct access to the unspoiled beach, Les Baleines Campground welcomes you to a remarkable, protected natural site certified with the European Ecolabel—the perfect setting for a vacation dedicated to rest, relaxation, and a change of scenery. With no swimming pool or late-night parties, you’ll spend your vacation in the great outdoors, savoring the pleasures of the sea: swimming, beach activities, and fishing—both on the shore and out at sea.

Whether with family or friends, come discover the joys of the Atlantic Ocean and the many bike rides along the well-maintained trails that will take you to the traditional summer markets or deep into the salt marshes.

You’ll appreciate our spacious, clearly marked campsites with access to restrooms, our modern mobile homes (with 2 to 3 bedrooms), our large, comfortably furnished lodge tents, and our charming wooden cabins for a glamping experience—all set up to ensure your privacy.

Our campground, restrooms, and rental accommodations are maintained using eco-friendly products to ensure the utmost respect for your health and our environment.

On-site, you’ll find a new Zen garden with a chicken coop, bocce courts, 1 ping-pong table, 1 children’s playground, bike rentals, 1 laundry facility (€), fresh bread every day, Wi-Fi, and board games available for use.
Since 2006, our establishment has been recommended by the Guide du Routard; we are signatories to the Charter of Responsible Stakeholders, hold the “Accueil Vélo” certification, and have been committed to a CSR initiative since 2023.
